More Captain Kobayakawa stuff.
Captain Kobayakawa is an epic-length Eyeshield 21 fanfiction, in progress. It’s Sena’s second year of high school and the Devil Bats are aiming to win the Christmas Bowl again.
I’ll say it again: OCs are entirely necessary for a story like this. What matters is how well one makes them—not that I’m allowed to judge them for myself. The quality rating of any given OC is always at the mercy of the reader. But moving on…
The First One
Face/expression studies for new characters. The ones on top are OCs with a set place in the story: Kuroda “Kurome” Hajime (White Knights QB), Takeda Katsuo (Devil Bats QB), Miyamoto Kannosuke (Devil Bats Kicker), Takayama Yuu (Devilbats, position pending), and Miyamoto Hisako (Devil Bats manager? Pending, since we don’t know if Mamori’s allowed to be involved with the club her third year).
And below them are some random-face characters who have yet to be sorted onto teams. The pointy one cries involuntarily when he’s angry.
The Second One
Kurome and Takeda getting serious. This is assuming Deimon and Ojo face each other again…I would really hate for the tournament to be a carbon-clone of the original just so everyone can have rematches.
The Third One
Theoretical scenario for Kannosuke’s first game as kicker. He’s a former ski-jumper with injury trauma, which comes out under pressure. He’s extremely easily fazed by the defense on kick plays, which is something he’ll have to get over if he wants to help his team win.
So yeah. Last week I went to the library and came back with “Football Plays and Offenses”. I also have a book on coaching.
